LaTria Rogers is a proud Bulldog for life! She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowie State University in 2003, and in 2008, obtained her master’s degree in counseling psychology. She became a mental health therapist for the DC Department of Correction/Unity Healthcare. She has 20 years in the following areas:  mental health, substance abuse, correction, and education. I have worked on the frontline and  I am ready to give back to make a better and stronger community!

LaTria is nationally certified as a counselor and holds many certifications including trauma. Additionally,  she is licensed in Maryland  and  Washington DC. She believes in  meeting clients where they are during the counseling process.

My name is Siobhan Davenport (pronounced Sha-Vawn). I am a California native and I am currently living in the United Kingdom. I graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Child Developmental Psychology from Saint Mary’s College of California and in 2010 from London Metropolitan University with a Masters Degree in Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Counselling. I am currently a student at London School of Counselling and am currently an Intern level therapist, hoping to become a qualified counsellor in both the US and UK.

I have had almost eight years working with the military community in a wide range of facilities, from child and teen program specialist, to being a work life specialist. I have also worked as a preschool, elementary and middle school teacher. It was through these service based roles that led me to want to pursue a career in therapy and counselling.

Therapy is something I believe that is beneficial for everyone, no matter your background. I  employ a person-centred and solution-focused approach of counselling, because YOU know you best, and being involved in your own path to mental wellbeing is essential to growth and healing.

My name is Lacretia Roberts, pronounced ( luh-cree-shuh).  I have a BS in Psychology (2019) and I am in the final months of my Marriage & Family therapy Masters program. I have a 4.0 GPA and I am an Intern level therapist. I grew up with a family member who suffered from PTSD due to severe childhood abuse and I also have lived with PTSD from personal trauma.

I developed a relentless desire to learn and understand how to break these cycles of trauma and improve mental health awareness and availability to all those who are truly ready to face positive change. I have learned that therapy is best when applied on an elevated and holistic level, unique to the client.  I prefer the use of Integrative Therapy because it allows a comprehensive consideration of multiple effective evidence based models to creatively collaborate to address the unique needs of every client I work with. No client should be put in a box and each therapy journey should be as special as YOU are.

As a therapist, I work with you to help you identify your desires and empower you to make those positive changes in your life. I understand that making the decision to seek help can be difficult, so I use an approach that is compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental to help create an environment where you feel supported in your counseling journey.

In 2007, I began my journey working in the field of children and family services by helping to reunify families. I soon discovered my passion is helping individuals, families and couples rebuild their lives and relationships by overcoming struggles in life. I continued my calling by working in home health and helping individuals and families through unforeseen crisis.

To further my experience, I began working with hospice which I helped individuals and families make end of life decisions or being an emotional support.  After years of specializing in crisis related to abuse, health, and dying, I redirected by focus back to specializing in my passion of helping to heal individuals, couples, families, with crisis or relationship issues.

I currently focus my practice in helping adult individuals and couples to overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship struggles, family changes, and parenting issues.

LWG Clinical Director

I was born in Nigeria but I have been a resident of Maryland for the last 15 years. My work experience in mental health started as a personal care staff in a group home for individuals with autism while enrolled in nursing school. It was a rewarding experience for me so I decided to focus on mental health after my graduation. I worked as a psychiatric nurse in a forensic unit for 8 years after graduating college. I also have four years of experience as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient unit of a community hospital.

I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 2018. Since my graduation, I have been providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management in community-based settings. I have extensive clinical experience working with the pediatric population and older adults. My clinical experience over the years encompasses diverse clinical settings and that has contributed greatly to my wealth of knowledge. I believe the best clinical outcomes are achieved through a collaborative approach that actively engages the client in the development of a treatment plan.
