Dr. Ife Oyefeso was born in Nigeria but has been a resident of Maryland for the last 15 years. Her work experience in mental health started as a personal care staff in a group home for individuals with autism while enrolled in nursing school. It was a rewarding experience for her, so Dr. Ife decided to focus on mental health after her graduation. She worked as a psychiatric nurse in a forensic unit for 8 years after graduating college. Dr. Ife also has four years of experience as a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient unit of a community hospital.

Dr. Ife graduated from the University of Maryland with a Doctorate degree in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing in 2018. Since her graduation, she has been providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management in community-based settings. She has extensive clinical experience working with the pediatric population and older adults. Dr. Ife's clinical experience over the years encompasses diverse clinical settings and that has contributed greatly to her wealth of knowledge. She believes the best clinical outcomes are achieved through a collaborative approach that actively engages the client in the development of a treatment plan.
