Clinician Biography
Oluwatobi is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experienced in treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. She is passionate about providing individualized, holistic, and culturally competent care while applying evidence-based treatment modalities. Her interpersonal, people centered nature, and compassion facilitates the development of a therapeutic rapport with ease. Her background in the emergency room has enhanced her critical thinking skills and enables her to eliminate other medical conditions that could be affecting one’s life.
Oluwatobi also has strong clinical skills enhanced by the natural ability to effectively communicate with clients/ families, listen effectively, and ask purposeful questions for appropriate diagnoses. Her education and experience permit her to attend to various mental illnesses, including anxiety, ADHD, Depression, PTSD, and other psychiatric disorders.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowie State University and a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization from Walden University. She will collaborate with interprofessional and interdisciplinary teams to provide the best evidence-based care to the clients. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, and American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
