Clinician Biography

Jennifer (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with her Masters Degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Jennifer earned her Masters in 2021 but has been working with clients and families since 2017. Jennifer has experience working with children, adolescents/teens, young adults, and adults, and feels passionately about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD. 

Jennifer approaches counseling from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective using CBT. Jennifer applies an array of techniques tailored to each client served, including trauma processing, cognitive processing, somatic attunement/movement, meditation/guided imagery, distress tolerance, and exposure therapy. Jennifer attends yearly certification courses for trauma treatment and mindfulness strategies. 

Jennifer views counseling from a collaborative, holistic, and integrative lens with the hope of providing clients with the space to be who they are as they navigate life’s challenges. Jennifer hopes to create a safe space for you to explore your heavy thoughts, emotions, and experiences while she offers clinical knowledge to support you in healing and achieving your goals.
