Clinician Biography

Dr. Grethel Bradford is a Professor of Psychology and Counseling. In 2016 she was presented the President Award for Outstanding Service to Washington Adventist University for creating an on-campus Counseling Center that serves the two fold purpose of providing counseling to current students, while giving students in the Graduate program on site clinical training under a licensed clinician.

Dr. Bradford is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, as well as a Certified Functional Family Therapist and Caseworker. Dr. Bradford’s combined experience as an educator and clinician spans thirty-nine years.  She is the founder of A Place for Women, LLC, where she provided counseling to individuals and families. Among her many accolades, Dr. Bradford has led several panel discussions on mental and behavioral health issues and is happiest when she is collaborating and sharing what she has garnered over the years.
