Clinician Biography

My name is Fatima Gomez. I am a first-generation American and a graduate student at Washington Adventist University, pursuing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion for this field stems from my own journey with mental health, which has inspired me to support others as they navigate life’s challenges.

I have experience working with minority communities and adolescents, focusing on helping clients build emotional resilience and strengthen their mental well-being. As someone who has personally faced the stigma surrounding mental health, I understand the importance of compassion and connection. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered during their healing process.

My goal is to explore the subconscious mind to better understand thought patterns and behaviors, then work together to rewrite the personal narrative in a way that highlights your strengths and turns your experiences into sources of empowerment. I believe therapy works best when it’s a partnership. I am committed to tailoring our work to what will benefit you. I’ll always collaborate with you, listen to your needs, and advocate for what matters most to you.
